Amazon Prime members can now receive Sunday delivery on their goods. After a successful trial run in London over Christmas, the online shopping giants have now decided to launch their Amazon delivery service on a Sunday across 7 UK cities including Birmingham, Nottingham and Manchester.
The new service is seen as step forward by Amazon to boost usage of their prime service. For a payment of £49 a year, the Amazon Prime service gives you free unlimited next day delivery on all purchases and also discounts of services such as evening delivery.
The UK Director for Amazon Logistics Jamie Stevenson said “Delivery on a Sunday means every day is now an Amazon delivery day and that Prime members can enjoy even more convenience when shopping on Amazon.”
Recently Amazon also dropped the free delivery service for goods under £10 for its non prime customers, however those spending over £10 will trigger the Super Saver Delivery option for customers.
